Military Engineering Service is also known as MES which in Pakistan Army department, The headquarter is located Rawalpindi,MES came under the control of the Engineer-in-Chief of Pakistan. It is responsible of making roads, buildings, airfields, electricity, bridges, water supply, Sui gas, sewerage, drainage, stores, and furniture, etc.
IT was established back in late 18th century in British colonial India and after independence, it got divided and Engineer-in-Chief becomes that head of the MES and Corps of Engineers. E-in-C took all the decisions related to this organization and had only 3 other directors for three branches of Armed Forces Army, Navy, and Air force.
